Tea is the second most consumed beverage on the planet (after water), and yet most of us have never been properly introduced to it. Tea Foundations changes that. This 90-minute workshop is designed for curious beginners and self-taught tea lovers alike. For anyone who wants to move beyond the tea bag and into something richer, more intentional, and genuinely delicious.

In this 90-minute experience, we'll start with the basics: where tea comes from, how the same plant produces green, white, yellow, oolong, black, and dark, and why processing makes all the difference. From there, we move into the sensory side of things as we engage with nose, eyes, and palate to understand what we're actually tasting and why. Guided tastings move you through a curated flight of teas chosen to highlight contrast, complexity, and character.

We'll also cover steeping: water temperature, timing, and the small adjustments that turn a good cup into a great one. By the end of the evening, you'll have a practical, sensory toolkit you can bring home and use every single day.
