Between Green and Black, Something Golden
What is oolong tea? Oolong lives in the beautiful in-between. Partially oxidized, it sits somewhere between green and black tea, carrying the freshness of one and the depth of the other. That partial oxidation is what gives oolong its signature complexity: layers that shift and deepen with every steep, flavours that evolve rather than repeat. Tasting Notes
Golden Ember is a Ti Kuan Yin style oolong. About 30% oxidized it is moderately roasted to draw out toasted honey and caramel warmth. With clean mineral notes and a quiet nuttiness underneath, it has a classic buttery texture that is smooth and beautifully balanced. Unfolds with grace over multiple steepings.

Pour 1 cup 80C to 85C water over 1.5 tsp tea. Cover. Wait 2-4 mins. For multiple infusions, add 30 seconds to 1 minute for each subsequent infusion.
For tea leaf reading: Pour water over 1 tsp tea in a porcelain tea cup. As you drink the tea, ask for your future to come through in the symbols of the tea leaves. Drink until there is a scant half a teaspoonful of the liquor remaining. Take the cup and turn it three times from left to right. Then very carefully invert it over the saucer and leave it there for a minute, allowing all moisture to drain away. Flip it back over and see what has taken shape.
