"There are few things more therapeutic than a cup of tea." - Aviva Jill Romm, MD
The herbs in this delightful, caffeine-free blend are nourishing and soothing for body and soul. With beautiful colour and graceful texture, this tea has a soft floral nose, grassy up front with a lightly fruity raspberry finish. Common nettle and tenacious raspberry (leaf and fruit) are paired with the humble rose and other calming and restorative herbs. The beauty of the loose leaf is complemented by the lovely light pink liquor.
This is a beautiful blend for starting a family tradition of afternoon or evening tea and conversation. Or, hide in the bathroom and give yourself five minutes of peace - whichever makes the world a better place for you!

Q&A with Bree, founder and tea artist
Q: What inspired you to create this blend?
A:
I had a friend ask for a special tea for her sister-in-law who had just had a baby. Anyone who's been through that can remember the mix of draining effort and pure joy that comes with the first days of parenthood and then the transition into a little bit of, shall we say, disrepair as the lack of sleep and overwhelm of transitioning hormones kicks in! So, I wanted to create a tea that would be a beautiful gift and feel like a little luxury in the chaos of that precious but exhausting stage.
Q: My kids are older, is this a good tea for creating a family tea ritual? Any tips?
A:
I love this tea for a family ritual. It is perfect because the flavours are light and a little fruity, which appeals to many kids. Also, since it's just as tasty as it cools, you don't have to worry about everyone being 'on time' to the living room. As for tips, try tagging it on to an existing family habit like bath or story time. If your kids are school age, maybe tea time marks the transition from work and school or after-school care into family time - with a nod to Mr. Rogers, change your shoes and sweater and make the tea while you put away the gorceries and the backpacks then take a pause together before starting the homework and dinner.
Q: How strong is the raspberry flavour?
A:
Although raspberries are the most plentiful ingredient in this blend by weight, their essence is lightly fruity. The idea of 'big' raspberry flavour in a tea is a little silly when you stop to think about how a raspberry actually tastes. Off the bush the flavour is sweet and delicious but it is actually a very light weight fruit. Because we don't use flavourings, you get the real essence of raspberry represented in this tea, which means light and quiet.
