Some of my earliest tea memories involve Earl Grey. Ah those heady bergamot notes! In this relaxing floral citrus version, bergamot and lavender are perfectly mingled like two lover’s hearts. Make a beau-tea-ful latte.
Flavour
If you like a lavender Earl Grey, then this twist should suit you you nicely. To spice it up I’ve added the very beautiful anise hyssop. Of the mint plant family and native to North America, it offers light mint and mild liquorice notes that help to bring out the sweetness of the blend without being overpowering.
Feeling
Most people find lavender to be calming. Its soothing nature is leveraged in all kinds of wellness and relaxation products. When you sip, The Earl's Lover, laced with lavender, I hope you will find yourself relaxed and ready to take on whatever comes next (maybe a nap?).

Steeping instructions
Pour 1 cup (250 ml) nearly boiling water (90 C - 95 C) over 1.5 tsp of tea. Let steep 4 to 6 minutes.
