In this 90-minute experience, we'll follow tea through some of history's most dramatic turning points. The British East India Company's stranglehold on trade. The Opium Wars and the dark side of tea's rise to dominance. The Scottish botanist who smuggled tea plants out of China and changed the industry forever. The Boston Tea Party and how a tax on tea lit the fuse of American independence. Each story is bigger than you'd expect, and every cup on the table connects you to it.
