Formosa Oolong
Formosa Oolong
Oolong teas are semi oxidized. After rolling, the tea is allowed to rest in warmth only until the edges of the leaves start to turn brown. At the direction of the tea maker, the tea is fired to arrest the oxidation process and lock in the particular character associated with Oolong tea - that roasted / toasty stone fruit sweetness. A longer firing is evident in this tea with its rich amber colour and honeyed character.
Certified organic at origin.
