Every year, the pumpkins emerge in the shops and we look forward to corn mazes, changing leaves, crisp air, and just maybe the quiet of falling snow.
From the autumn equinox through the winter solstice, the season calls for black tea and mulling spices that make us dream of gingerbread cookies and cozy evenings by the fire. This blend is made to bring all those sensory experiences to your cup. As fall takes over and the days grow shorter, this seasonal blend is the perfect companion to a good book, a cup of tea and a cuddle up in front of the fire.

Q: How much caffeine is there in the tea?
A: This blend is just under a quarter black tea so you could expect about that much caffeine compared to a full cup of black tea.
Q: How sweet is 'sweet'?
A: The sweetness comes from the oranges, mace and cinnamon - it's a 'true' cinnamon so sweeter and lighter than the one typically found in North American spice cupboards. So it's not a real 'fruity' sweetness, think gingersnaps instead of meringues.
Q: What is mace?
A: Mace is a spice made from the red outer covering (aril - it's beautiful) of the nutmeg seed. It has a warm, slightly sweet, and spicier flavour compared to nutmeg. I love using it in teas because it is so fragrant.

Steeping instructions
Pour 1 cup (250 ml) boiling water over 1.5 tsp tea. Steep 5-10 minutes. Cozy up and sip into serenity.

Wrap labels are printed on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper and secured using non-toxic adhesives.
Tins are reusable (hand wash only) and curb-side recyclable in most municipalities.
